Someone suggested I take him to see Dani Flynn who does Bowen Therapy on dogs in Denmark & Albany. Best advice ever! Dani treated him with flower essences and herbal tonics, as we as advising on dietary changes. Very quickly I began to see the Olli I knew and loved again, and a few weeks on he’s more relaxed and happy than he’s ever been. He’s since been to different kennels, accompanied by his flower essences and tonics, and this time he was fine there. I just wanted to give Dani a big shout-out and to recommend her highly. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5da7ce1ef6d96b1bf0e19eb3/1580777660380-6LVMGRWTIA7TO4119DAA/image-asset.jpeg Testimonials - Jedda - Photo courtesy of Jacinta Lacao https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5da7ce1ef6d96b1bf0e19eb3/1580777813369-72KEOBICGBBW0YZYHJ5P/Jedda.jpeg Testimonials https://www.daniflynn.net/dani-and-dog-care daily 0.75 2026-10-15 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5da7ce1ef6d96b1bf0e19eb3/1771304971987-K18OTCM505DHDJH9OB4R/JaluBowen.jpeg Healing - Bowen & Acupressure Bowen Therapy releases the spine and skeleton via a gentle myofascial soft tissue technique. These cross-fiber rolling moves are usually very relaxing for animals, and extremely effective for musculoskeletal tension and postural alignment. Over the years, I have seen animals respond to Bowen in profound ways. Acupressure is an effective way to relieve pain, bringing comfort to your dog. It is based on Acupuncture but instead of using needles, I use finger pressure to help unblock meridians and get chi flowing. I find it very effective for older dogs who can be quite sensitive and body sore and who may not tolerate a full Bowen session. I offer Lymphatic drainage for dogs with chronic skin issues, allergies and toxic load, overweight dogs or dogs who just need a ‘pick me up’. These sessions help to re-set the pelvis and TMJ and can also be helpful for dogs with neurological issues. These gentle, hands-on techniques help to support the body’s natural ability to heal, freeing up movement, restoring mobility and comfort. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5da7ce1ef6d96b1bf0e19eb3/6fcab0fc-48ec-48d2-919d-b82d081fc30c/Dandi.jpg Healing - Herbal Medicine “Plant medicines ... work with one of the most powerful forces available, the energy of life or Nature herself ... they stimulate or sedate or nourish or cleanse, as required by the case, to bring physiological function back to health ... i.e. homeostasis ... This radical concept of traditional folk medicine is that disease is curable ..." Matthew Wood - The Practice of Traditional Western Herbalism. Until the early 1940’s, herbalism formed the foundation of our medical care system, including that of veterinary. A resurgence in the green pharmacy reflects a broader shift toward a more natural, gentle & sustainable way of caring for animal companions and ourselves. These ‘new’ plant based remedies are actually one of the oldest forms of medicine on this planet. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5da7ce1ef6d96b1bf0e19eb3/2f45be85-f8ed-4a76-b167-75a3d0e39d06/Bach.jpg Healing - Flower Essences For emotional support, I create custom Flower Essence blends for both animals and their people, drawing from the Australian Bush Flower Essences, Bach Flower Essences, Desert Alchemy ranges & Living Essences. With a background in Kinesiology, I will use muscle testing to help guide the treatment plan and fine-tune remedy selection. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5da7ce1ef6d96b1bf0e19eb3/5d15b95a-9a72-454e-a161-5c5e803b4150/cat+phone.jpg Healing -
